"From love to music"

Behind the name Tiina Helinä is the North Karelian singer Tiina Rantala (née Silvennoinen).

She is the winner of the Kainuu Tango Singing Competition in 2012 and a semifinalist at the Tangomarkkinat in 2013. In 2017, she won the women's category of the Tangoseniori singing competition held in conjunction with the Tangomarkkinat event in Seinäjoki.

At the end of 2017, Tiina was awarded the Kontiolahti municipality's cultural prize for her long-standing work in the music field. She has also performed for several years at the popular Kinahmo Summer Theater in musical plays.

In 2018, Tiina participated in the "TVOF – The Voice of Finland" competition during the phase where the voice matters. In the Laila and Olavi singing competition held in 2021, she placed third in the general women's category and won the audience vote in that category. Her most recent achievements include third place finishes in the 2024 Huippuartisti singing competition and the Iskelmä SenioriMestarit 2024.

Tiina Helinä performs with her dance band Feeniks. Their repertoire primarily features traditional dance music, ranging from waltzes and humppa to tango and jenkka. The program is adaptable based on the event, and requests are also considered. Tiina Helinä is available as a guest soloist as well.

As a solo artist, Tiina Helinä accompanies herself on guitar. Her versatile repertoire includes timeless Finnish songs, pop music, and popular tunes, from Eino Leino to Lauri Tähkä, and from Katri Helena to Jenni Vartiainen.

Tiina can be booked for a variety of occasions, including concerts, dances, birthday parties, weddings, funerals, and different private events.

Pricing is determined based on the ensemble and the nature of the occasion.
