Behind the name Tiina Helinä is the North Karelian singer Tiina Silvennoinen. She is the winner of the Kainuu Tango Singing Competition from 2012 and the semifinalist of the Tango Markkinat in 2013. In 2017, she won the women's category of the Tangoseniori singing competition in Seinäjoki in connection with the Tango Markkinat.

At the end of 2017, Tiina was awarded the Kontiolahti municipality's cultural award for her long-term work in music. He has also acted in musical plays at the popular Kinahmo summer theater for many years. In 2018, Tiina participated in the TVOF competition in the voice decides stage. In the 2021 Laila ja Olavi singing competition, she finished third in the women's general category and won the public vote for that category.
