Tiina Helinä – Live Music and Good Atmosphere

I'm Tiina Helinä, a singer and solo guitarist from North Karelia, Finland. I perform accompanying myself on guitar, bringing live music, warmth and a welcoming atmosphere to a wide range of occasions.

My repertoire consists of Finnish evergreen songs, schlager and Finnish pop. It includes familiar songs ranging from Eino Leino and Juha Tapio to Katri Helena and Jenni Vartiainen. My repertoire works equally well as atmospheric background and listening music or for a more lively, dance-friendly setting.

Live Music for Celebrations and Events

I'm available to perform at a wide range of occasions, including:

• Birthdays and milestone celebrations
• Weddings and other family celebrations
• Memorial services
• Concerts
• Dances
• Corporate and association events
• Summer events and other public occasions

Every event is unique, so the repertoire can be tailored to suit the occasion and the wishes of the client.

If needed, I can also perform with a larger ensemble, for example together with an accordionist, keyboard player or dance orchestra. The dance repertoire includes traditional Finnish dance music, from waltzes and humppa to tango and jenkka.

Years of Experience on Stage

Music has been an important part of my life for many years. I have performed at a wide variety of events, released several recordings and gained extensive experience through numerous singing competitions.

I won the Kainuu Tango Singing Competition in 2012 and reached the semi-finals of the Tangomarkkinat Tango Singing Competition in 2013. In 2017, I won the women's category of the Tangoseniori Singing Competition, held in connection with the Seinäjoki Tangomarkkinat. The same year, I received the Cultural Award of the Municipality of Kontiolahti for my long-standing work in music.

In 2018, I took part in the Finnish version of The Voice, reaching the "Ääni ratkaisee" audition stage. In the 2021 Laila ja Olavi Singing Competition, I placed third in the women's general category and won the audience vote in the same category. In 2024, I placed third in both the Suomen Huippuartisti and Iskelmä SenioriMestarit singing competitions.
